How to Find Flexible Flights
If your dates can move even a little, flexible-date tools can find materially lower fares.

Airfare varies a lot by day. If you can shift your trip even a day or two, flexible-date tools find fares you'd never see searching one date at a time.
Tools that help:
- Fare calendars — show a whole month at a glance so you can see which days are cheapest.
- Flexible-date search — searches '3 days before and after' automatically.
- Price tracking — watches a route and tells you when fares move.
Other levers: nearby airports, one-stop vs. nonstop, and booking separate tickets vs. round trips (though separate tickets mean separate rules if something goes wrong).
When flexibility matters more than the exact schedule, say so in the Lucky Finds quiz — providers with strong flexible-date and fare-calendar tools will rank higher for you. Always confirm current fares on the provider's own site.
