Pet Sitting vs Boarding

In-home sitting, boarding, and daycare each fit different pets and trips.

Pet Sitting — a sitter comes to your home (drop-in visits or overnight stays). Best for pets who are stressed by new places, cats, and pets with routines worth keeping.

Boarding — your pet stays elsewhere overnight: a sitter's home via a marketplace, a PetsHotel, or a camp-style facility with playgroups. Best for social dogs and longer trips.

Questions to ask either way: who exactly will be with my pet, what happens in an emergency, what's included in the price, and can I see reviews or visit first?

Anxious or senior pets often do better at home; young, social dogs often enjoy playgroup-style daycare. Availability varies by location — confirm coverage in your area before booking.
